Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) has generated P935 million investments for 2022 noting the year has not yet ended, said AFAB Administrator Emmanuel Pineda in his 5th State of the Freeport Address (SOFA) on Wednesday.
He said another project, worth P3 Billion was already endorsed to the Fiscal Incentives Review Board. He also added that AFAB was included among the Investment Promotion Agencies that generated foreign investments in the second quarter of 2022.
Pineda said AFAB interacted with dozens of interested investors since the start of the year. He said two investors are power-generating projects that could pour nearly P50 B pesos into FAB. Since 2016, AFAB has generated P130.38 Billion investments.
